Social Media Ads

For this student project, I chose to advertise a sunscreen brand and give two varying designs, each with a set of three Instagram ads. These ads are designed with square compositions to be mobile-friendly for social media apps like Instagram. For this project, the goal was to create two different sets of ads that gave exhibited different feelings. The 3 ads needed to feel like they could be viewed as one thing as well as separately and still make sense.

Another goal of this project was to describe our first set of ads using 3 words, then use the antonyms of those words to create the second set of ads.

Words to describe the first set of 3 ads: static, neutral, minimalistic.

Words to describe the second set of 3 ads: active, bright/colorful, bold.
